Resources Human Development is Hiring a Therapist Near Lower Merion Township, PA

Resources for Human Development is hiring for Full Time Therapists! This positions offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and so much more!

Our ideal candidate is values oriented, service driven, and not just looking for their next job, but a career. The therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapies to children, adolescents or adults depending on program support population using evidence-based practices in addiction-substance use disorders, mental health diagnosis and other areas as required by program. Perform initial assessment, treatment plans, individual and group counseling, coordinate with program support staff to identify and secure additional services and resources based on client needs.

Therapist position in a snapshot:

$52,140.86 annually plus an additional $3,000 sign-on bonus available ($1,500 paid after 90 days of employment and $1,500 at 6 months of employment)
Licensed Therapists have an annual salary of $55,530.50
Flexible work schedule
Hybrid position
Paid time off: 4 weeks vacation, 1 week of sick time PLUS holidays!

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field.
LCSW/ LPC/ LMFT strongly preferred but not required-**After license is obtained, the pay rate will increase to $55,530.50
Two years' experience providing direct therapy in the area of mental health, substance use or IDD.
Familiar with standard business computer software programs and electronic Health Care Database programs
ACT 33/34 clearances if required by program
FBI clearance, as needed
LCSW/ LPC/ LMFT strongly preferred.

ASAM training certificate ideal but not required

About Lower Merion Counseling and Mobile Services:
Lower Merion Counseling Services is one of RHD oldest programs with over 50 years of service to the community! Lower Merion Counseling Services is designated as an Integrated Community Wellness Center (ICWC) which provides coordinated, comprehensive, quality care. We offer care that is person-centered and family-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented, and that the integration of physical and behavioral health care will serve the “whole person”. LMCMS is a licensed outpatient, D&A and MH service provider.
Some Responsibilities Include:
Therapy

Conduct intake assessments including recommendations for treatment
Provide individual, group and family therapies to people with mental health and substance abuse issues.

Caseload management

Maintain active caseload including engaging individuals in ongoing treatment.
Maintain tracking system for treatment plans, and other required documents to meet program funder guidelines and program goals.
Participate in clinical group meetings regarding ongoing treatment goals, progress and discharge as needed.

Administrative

Enter documentation into electronic medical records in accordance with agency guidelines.
