Washington County Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time surgical assistant to join our team! Veterinary experience is preferred however we are willing to train the right individual. A positive, team player attitude, with excellent communication skills, is a must. The ideal candidate will be comfortable assisting the surgical technicians in the preparation and monitoring of surgical patients and surgical procedures as needed. Other primary responsibilities include maintenance of the kennel, maintaining medical records, assisting other staff and veterinarians, and assisting with the sterilization of surgical instruments.
