Job Summary

The Renaissance Cleveland Hotel is transforming to Hotel Cleveland, an Autograph Collection by Marriott. This historic hotel is a hub where stories unfold and connections are made, mirroring the city’s relentless spirit and welcoming heart. The property is currently undergoing a 90 million dollar renovation and will debut in Spring 2024. We are currently seeking for responsible servers to provide the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. Cocktail Server’s primary responsibility is to provide excellent service to guests by serving alcoholic beverages and food. The Cocktail Server is also responsible for receiving and delivering guests orders and collecting payment. This position requires a motivated hospitality professional who is organized, friendly, and passionate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
• Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
• Must be guest focused
• Flexible schedule to accommodate varying hours, including evenings and weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide impeccable table service to guests, taking orders, delivering drinks, and ensuring a memorable experience
• Engage with guests in a friendly, charismatic, and attentive manner, making them feel welcomed and valued
• Deliver drinks in a visually appealing manner, enhancing the presentation and guest enjoyment
• Learn and understand POS systems and equiptment
• Coordinate with bartenders, other servers, and the bar team to ensure smooth service
• Share engaging stories and anecdotes about the hotel history and signature drinks
• Follow responsible alcohol service regulations, health codes, and safety standards
• Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
