Regional One Health is seeking an Informatics Pharmacy Technician (Certified) . National Certification AND TN License required.
JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Under the guidance of the pharmacy informatics manager and specialist, the technician will assist with the development and maintenance of clinical and operational information in pharmacy information systems. The technician will collaborate with information specialists and pharmacy staff to develop, improve, and maintain pharmacy capabilities and limitations and resolve related issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Education Requirement: Successful completion of Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent education. Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
Experience Requirement: Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Experience information systems, database management, and pharmacy automation. Two years' experience with clinical informatics.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION: Current documentation as Certified Pharmacy Technician and license to work in state of TN as Pharmacy Technician.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Constant standing, walking, lifting, bending, pushing and pulling to perform rounds, fill carts and access supplies. Manual dexterity to compound IV's and performs data entry. Light work requiring exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
