Regional Hand Center of Central California has an exciting opportunity for an experienced SPD Tech - Sterile Processing to join our ASC team. This at-will full time position enjoys a Monday through Friday, evening shift (10:00AM-6:30PM), with weekends and holidays off.Position Description:Under direction of the daily assigned charge RN, SPD Tech is responsible for sterilizing and ensuring proper care of instruments. Exhibits detailed knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilizing procedures. The SPD Tech is responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of supplies for sterilizing processing area. Collaborates fully with peers as it relates to creating a safe and effective work environment, culture of growth, and focus on excellent patient care.
