We welcome you to apply and join our family today as our Director of Memory Care (RN/LPN/RMA)!ResponsibilitiesOversees all day-to-day functions of our Memory Care Program to include resident care and team members.Responsible for development of individual service plan for new residents and ongoing review/updating of individual service plans in response to changes in resident needs.Responsible for completion of Uniform Assessment Instrument (UAIs).Coordinate management of all healthcare needs of residents with physicians, other healthcare providers and families.Responsible for ensuring that assigned team members are fully aware of resident needs and individual service plans.Ensures resident charts are current and organized and required documentation is completed. Performs audits as needed.Supervises medication aides to ensure proper administration and monitor documentation.Supervises direct care team members to ensure resident needs are met in a timely, courteous, professional, and caring manner.Assist with scheduling as needed to ensure proper staffing levels.Participate as a Manager on Duty during assigned weekends. Be on call for resident oriented situations.Foster teamwork and have a positive impact on team members, residents, and visitors.QualificationsMust be 21 years of age or older.Must read, write, speak and understand English.Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Therapeutic Recreation, or equivalent is desired.Current RN/LPN license strongly preferred.Previous successful management of a Memory Care unit is desired.Knowledge and experience in working with older adults with memory impairment; at least two years experience in geriatric care is desired.Ability to communicate effectively.Must be able to pass a criminal background check.Regency at Augusta Assisted LivingShenandoah Valleys newest senior living community, Regency at Augusta, located in Fishersville, combines the care you need with the lifestyle you enjoy.
