RegencyCare of Arlington is currently seeking an energetic and dynamic RegisteredNurse (RN) to work in our MDS team . The MDSAssistant is responsible for timely and accurate completion,coordination, recording, updating, and monitoring of all Minimum Data Set (MDS) documentationrequired by state and other appropriate authorities.

Specificresponsibilities include:

• Provide clinical and administrative support to the MDS Coordinator
• Regulate and maintain the MDS/PPS program and completion schedule
• Monitors MDS and care plan documentation for all residents. Ensures documentation is present in the medical record to support MDS coding
• Develop and coordinate appropriate nursing care plans for all residents
• Evaluate effectiveness of nursing care plans, and update MDS/RAI process within completion guidelines
• Works in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team to assess the needs of the resident

Theideal candidate will possess the following:

• Active and unencumbered VA License as an RN
• Prior MDS and Case Mix experience is preferred
• Proficient user of computer - Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to organize and prioritize
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to be accurate, concise and detail oriented
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
