Summary: The Regal janitorial supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all auditoriums, lobby, hallway areas, and bathrooms are cleaned prior to the opening for business. Supervise janitor position to ensure work is complete.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for each position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Regular and consistent attendance
• Cleaning all auditoriums prior to opening for business
• Collect and remove trash from theatres, lobby, restrooms, concessions, etc.
• Wipe, dust, and polish surfaces including seats, handrails, walls, counters, etc.
• Clean restrooms, including all sinks, fixtures, and toilets.
• Clean mirrors, windows, and glass.
• Use a vacuum to effectively clean between and under theatre seats.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors, including utilizing proper signage to avoid slips, trips, and falls.
• Empty trash receptacles as required.
• Maintains carpets (vacuums, removes gum, shampoos as necessary).
• Stock restrooms, janitor closets, and cleaning carts as needed. Communicate needed supplies to management.
• Abide by all compactor safety rules and maintain compactor/dumpster area cleanliness.
• Follow all Regal procedures to ensure a safe work environment and ensure the safety of our guests.
• Safely use all chemicals in accordance with MSDS sheets, including utilizing provided chemical mixing stations.
• Follow all Regal security protocols.
• Report damaged/broken equipment to management.
• Observe and report any potential safety or maintenance concerns to management.
• Maintain regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts to ensure timely performance of duties.
• Uphold Regal's business practice standards and ensure compliance with company programs.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises an unspecified number of employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training and coaching of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; and resolving problems. Continually set a standard of professionalism for others to follow and instill leadership traits in subordinate employees.
Qualifications:

1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. High attention to detail.
3. Effective communication skills.
4. Ability to work effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
5. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
6. Ability to manage time efficiently and produce quality work within pre-set time frames.

Education/Experience:
Prior janitorial experience preferred.
Language Ability:
Effectively communicate in both oral and written form with management staff. Listen effectively, respond clearly and directly, and ability to explain information to others
Reasoning Ability:
Identify problems, and note possible causes of problems. Take action beyond what is necessarily called for, and perform tasks with a minimal amount of supervision. Perform under pressure and/or opposition.
Personal Skills:
Interface effectively with co-workers, and exhibit sensitivity to the feelings of others
Physical Demands:

1. Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending on a frequent basis - including up and down stairs.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet (or deposit into dumpster or trash compactor).
3. Ability to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
4. Ability to safely use basic cleaning equipment.
5. Ability to work late at night, as necessary.
