The Project Engineer Intern will assist the Project team with day-to-day tasks related to managing construction projects and assist with special projects. This position’s work may also be directed by Assistant Superintendents, Senior Project Managers, Project Managers or Assistant Project Managers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Preparing for progress meetings and taking meeting minutes
2. Identifying and resolving potential problems regarding documents
3. Taking project progress photos
4. Tracking material deliveries
5. Expediting and reviewing shop drawings
6. Maintaining shop drawing logs
7. Preparing and distributing addenda and plan revisions
8. Assisting Superintendents with layout, calculations, safety, jobsite cleanliness, etc., as requested
9. Preparing and updating submittal logs, RFI logs, and change order logs
10. Performing timely completion of project close out activities
Education Requirements:
Sophomore, Junior or Senior working towards BS in Construction Management or related field.
