WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Both Full Time and Part Time Pediatric Occupational Therapists with a passion for working with infants & toddlers in their formative years. You must be comfortable working in a clinic setting as well as traveling to client homes. ROLE OVERVIEW: Pediatric Occupational Therapist
REPORTS TO: Early Start Program Director
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Degree in Occupational Therapy and valid California license; CBOT certification (OTR/L) required.
2 - 3 years of related experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; American Sign Language or bilingual ability preferred.
Ability to work in a team-oriented setting and collaborate with peers/leadership.
Up-to-date CPR & First Aid Certification (adult, child, & infant) or ability to obtain.
Experience with the following assessment tools preferred, but not required: Battelle Developmental Inventory-3 and REEL 4.
BASIC & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites. Valid driver’s license, proof of current auto insurance, and clean driving record.
Ability to obtain DOJ background clearance.
Ability to read, comprehend, and write communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
Knowledgeable and skilled in computer/word processing software.
TB and COVID Vaccinations (medical or religious exemptions accepted).
