JOB TITLE:WAREHOUSE FORKLIFT OPERATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To safely and efficiently complete the unloading and loading process of all inbound and outbound materials as required throughout the day
• Warehouse work -lifting, wrapping, palletizing material as needed
• Packaging products and preparing materials for shipment
• Organize and maintain yard, warehouse and other areas as needed, general clean-up
• Assist and participate in all cycle counts and inventories
• Assigned to various jobs when needed
• Assist in Material Management functions
• Load trailers with the correct product, in the correct quantities, in a timely manner
• Load product in a safe manner that will cause it to reach the customer in good condition
• Unload trucks and properly stock material in the proper locations
• Rotate stock accurately per the company First In/First Out
• Accurately count and receive all inbound items and materials
• Mark receivers, showing proper information required for receipt completion

EDUCATION:

• High school or equivalent preferred
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required

Experience:

• 1 years' experience in manufacturing preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge in the Stucco/Masonry Industry a plus
• Must have good time management and organization skills
• At least 6 mo of forklift experience in the last 18 mo
• Must have the skills to effectively read, write, and perform simple arithmetic
• Computations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers and addition and subtraction of decimal and fractional numbers

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Able to perform various forms of physical labor (i.e lifting 75 lbs/ standing)
• Forklift experience and certification required
• Warehouse organization & pallet wrap experience required
• Push, bending and pulling pallets and lifting products is required
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions of loading/unloading tickets
• Ability to understand and follow all company policies as provided
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment including extreme temperatures and inclement weather

• Professional attitude with all customers and drivers
• Able to work flexible hours when needed
• Honesty, Integrity and self-motivated to achieve success in any tasks given
