Undercover is Hiring a Manufacturing Assembler (Part-time) Near Rogersville, MO

The Production Assembler plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the manufacture of high-quality products. Responsible for executing assembly tasks according to the work instructions, this role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards. The Production Assembler must achieve set production goals, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and leverage Lean manufacturing tools to enhance efficiency.

Core Functions

  • Follow established work instructions to properly assemble products and/or different parts of products.
  • Achieve established goals or deadlines set for specific work areas.
  • Operate required equipment per safety guidelines, which may include include company supplied safety glasses with side shields (ANSI-rated Z-87 if personal prescription) and hearing protection; some assignments may also include cut resistant gloves, high visibility vest, shoes with puncture resistant soles, and in certain cases face shields, ear-muffs, and/or full length denim pants.
  • Complete all required paperwork and/or data entry.
  • May work at different workstations as production needs require.
  • Attendance and dependability are essential job functions. Required to report to work on time and follow attendance guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Two schedules to choose from with voluntary Fridays up to twice per month.

  • Monday & Wednesday: 6am-4:30pm

OR

  • Tuesday & Thursday: 6am-4:30pm

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • 1-3 months of related experience and/or training preferred.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Ability to use use battery and pneumatic hand tools, (drills, pop rivet guns, drivers, staplers, etc.) and misc. manual tools such as hammers, tape measures, and shears/scissors ; in some cases also stationary pneumatic and electrical equipment fur banding, punching, drilling, and milling.
  • Ability to read and interpret tape measurements accurately.

Physical Activities

  • This position is subject to the following physical activities: reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions

  • The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including heat, noise, vibration, and hazards from a production-based environment.
