As an Estimator you will play a crucial role in accurately estimating project costs, analyzing bids, and contributing to the success of our high end single family home projects

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents.
• Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs, material pricing, and labor estimates to prepare accurate project cost estimates.
• Analyze and evaluate subcontractor bids, negotiate pricing, and select qualified subcontractors for projects.
• Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals, including detailed breakdowns of costs and schedules.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with the project team during the pre-construction phase to provide expertise and insights on cost-saving opportunities and value engineering.
• Review and analyze project changes and prepare change orders as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all estimating activities, documents, and communication.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in Estimating/ Purchasing and or Preconstruction in the construction industry
• Proficient in using construction estimating software and tools.
• Solid understanding of construction plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills to accurately calculate project costs.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
