The purpose of the Purchasing Agent I is to efficiently purchase facility supplies and services by issuing purchase orders, entering timely receipts into Oracle, manage account payables for non-metals invoicing, maintain all AP, MVP and purchasing records according to internal audit guidelines. Manage plants non-metal inventory. This role will also provide administrative support for the MVP system and to the Plant Controller, Maintenance Manager and HSE.

HS Diploma or equivalent business experience is a minimum requirement.

One or two years of clerical accounting preferred.

Proven ability to develop, implement and manage systems and procedures.

Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and team leadership skills.

Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel required.

Oracle experience considered a plus.

Highly motivated, goal oriented, ethical, and challenge driven.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
