Description
An independent title company, associated with a major real estate brokerage, is looking for a skilled Senior Underwriter.
Responsibilities
•Underwrite and type commitments, policies, and endorsements according to agency goals
•Receive and respond to customer inquiries requesting status, rate quotes, title defects, clearing exceptions, or general information
•Produce daily and monthly reports
•Cooperate and collaborate with the marketing team to maximize agency profitability and effectiveness
•Communicate with attorneys and staff on orders
•Assemble policies, commitments, and endorsements for mailing and emailing
•Prepare CPLs with accuracy
•Monthly remittances
Qualifications
•Ability to work well with others, meet deadlines, organize workload, and maintain accurate files
•Licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina
•Minimum 2 years of underwriting experience
