It involves the replacement of fire alarm system of a series of transit stations for BART in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Project Manager/Resident Engineer will supervise a construction management team including office engineers, inspectors, and administrative help, and report directly to the client. Responsibilities on a day-to-day basis will include, but are not limited to: Manage construction contractors, prepare change orders, answer requests for information, review submittals, review and approve progress payment requests, review and tracking schedules and costs, set up document and cost control systems and forecasting cost to complete.
