Vaco is hiring for a Title Clerk in Orange Park, Florida. This is a contract to hire opportunity, onsite, with a large auto group with room for growth.
No weekends, Mon-Fri, regular day hours.

Job Purpose:
Provide accounting services by maintaining management designated procedures and policies for processing titles and registrations for retail customers, managing titles for all vehicle inventory, and managing payables and receivables related to title and registration work, and other accounting functions as assigned.

Duties:

• Verify funding received or cash collected on every deal to be processed for title and registration.
• Maintain and file titles/lien releases on a timely manner. Make phone calls on missing titles weekly.
• Process all retail title and registration paperwork with the goal on maintaining a turnaround of 14 days.
• Accurately post registration fees daily.
• Maintain title and registration payable schedule with the goal on maintaining all aging below 30 days.
• Process wholesaled inventory – finalize deal, sign off and relinquish title, collect and receipt payment.
• Resolve administrative and staff problems by communicating concerns with the Office Manager and/or Controller for guidance on resolutions.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
