Now Hiring - Basic Machine Operator (BMO)
Location : Southwest Florida - On-site (PRN Float)
Radiology Regional is one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic imaging providers, with 13 imaging centers, in Southwest Florida. We are seeking a basic machine operator with a passion to care for others in the communities we serve. For over 50 years we have earned trust and confidence because of their patient care experience.
Essential Duties for a Basic Machine Operator (BMO):

• Receives and follows directives and instructions from radiologists, diagnostic imaging center manager, and technical director to properly perform the position's functions.
• Calculates and selects proper technical factors such as voltage, current, exposure time, focal distance, etc., based on information as patient age, physical condition, and suspected pathology.
• Schedules patient examinations according to physician's orders as directed.
• Explains proper preparation to patients prior to procedure.
• Develops mammography films and related dark room duties, in addition to understanding the CR system and equipment.

Requirements
Basic Machine Operator Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must possess current State of Florida certification as a Basic X-Ray Machine Operator to practice medical radiography.
• Must have completed the required hours of continuing education certification or annual period, to satisfy State of Florida requirements.
• CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
