Office Equipment Clerk - Print Production
Location: CA, Santa Ana 92705 Type: Temporary Contract (1 year) Schedule: M - F / 8 am to 5 pm Salary: $18 - $20 per hour
Description:
This position involves document assembly and finishing tasks, which are routine and well-defined. The ideal candidate should have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be proficient in operating standard finishing equipment such as paper cutters, inserters, laminators, and hole punchers. They will serve as the point of contact to receive, review, and electronically log customer jobs. Additionally, they will operate basic office equipment including printers, copiers, and fax machines. Responsibilities also include applying asset tags to office equipment, updating databases, and tracking the movement, addition, or change of office equipment assets at customer accounts. The role entails cleaning and maintaining office equipment as needed, processing and distributing incoming and outgoing faxes for billing purposes, logging incoming packages and accountable mail, and processing basic forms, and updating information using a PC.
Responsibilities:
Operating standard finishing equipment such as paper cutters, inserters, laminators, and hole punchers.
Serving as the point of contact for customer inquiries and job status updates.
Applying asset tags to office equipment and updating databases.
Tracking and coordinating the movement, addition, or change of office equipment assets at customer accounts.
Cleaning and maintaining office equipment as needed.
Processing and distributing incoming and outgoing faxes for billing purposes.
Logging incoming packages and other accountable mail.
Processing basic forms and updating information using a PC.
Opening and saving documents and files, and performing data entry.
Demonstrating the ability to use Internet Explorer for web browsing.
Sending documents to preconfigured printers.
Demonstrating basic math skills including division, multiplication, and percentages.
Exhibiting business maturity and professionalism in all interactions
Requirements:
Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
Intermediate PC and internet skills, including downloading and installing files, performing mail merges, and basic proficiency in MS Office
Experience:
1 years of knowledge and experience with mail procedures and operating mail equipment
Education:
Minimum: High School diploma or equivalency
