Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings to fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products.
• Precisely measure, mark dimensions, and layout materials for installation using tools like scribes, rulers, calculators, and squares.
• Collaborate with the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) team as needed on various projects.
• Demonstrate proficiency in commercial HVAC construction products and tools.
• Skillfully measure, cut, bend, and shape metal components to exact specifications and attach them to the finished product.
• Secure joints and seams in sheet metal using techniques such as soldering, welding, caulking, bolting, and metal driver clips to ensure lasting bonds.
• Utilize shears, saws, drills, power-actuated guns, and punches for cutting and installing metal ductwork.
• Transport, join, and fasten parts to walls, floors, or ceilings with metal hangers.
• Expertise in setting up equipment and installing various duct systems, including slip and drive, ductmate, TDC, dampers, and other related airside HVAC components.
• Complete sheet metal layouts and fabrications with excellent mechanical skills.
• Comfortable working at heights on ladders and scaffolding.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in commercial HVAC construction products and tools.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC.
• Valid driver's license.
• Lull and scissor lift training is a plus.
