The Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for providing Wentworth Golf Club guests with excellent customer service from the moment they arrive. Duties include opening and closing the shop, ringing up transactions, booking tee times, creating displays and organizing merchandise, managing inventory and helping with special events. Some weekends are required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service to all guests

• Must be courteous to all guest and maintain a clean appearance

• Performs opening and closing procedures for the shop.

• Responsible for all pro shop sales transactions made and reconciling the register at the end of shift.

• Makes tee times reservations and assists customers on the phone as needed

• Assists with general cleaning of the shop and creating appealing displays

• Assists with physical inventories.

• Assist with special events and performs other duties assigned by Manager

Required Skills/Abilities (education, prior work experience, special skills, etc.)

• Must be 18 years of age

• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written

• Must possess basic math/ computation ability.

• Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to email and calendar use, Microsoft Office

• Excellent interpersonal and sales-related skills

• One year of related experience is preferred

• Golf experience preferred
