Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.

 Plan,design, construct or repair all types of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures,etc. Determine metal requirements in jigs, fixtures, and dies; selectallowances, and perform difficult and involved tool room machine operations atthe level consistent with the education and/or experience required.

  • Analyze data and production reports
  • Set up and change over equipment

Design, plan, construct and repair all types of tools such as: dies, fixtures, gages, molds and special equipment of the highest intricacy, where accurate relationship, fitting and interchangeability of parts requires the maintenance of extremely close tolerances or fits. Use shop mathematics, trigonometry, and hand book formulas as well as outstanding ingenuity and judgement to construct tools where no design is available. Selecting and advising on various grades of steel, knowing the working qualities and strength and be capable of hardening, tempering and annealing of metals as required. Determine metal flow in dies, select allowances, perform difficult and involved development of work, make new tool try-outs, diagnose and correct trouble. Tolerances and fits .0001. Work with a multitude of plastics and composite materials.
