Snyder Equipment has supplied quality products to the railroad industry since 1936. Position Title:

Remanufacturing Technician I (Disassembly of Air Compressors/ Air Dryers- breaking down and determining what needs to be repaired or replaced)

• 1st shift: Monday – Friday 6 AM – 2:30 PM, $16/hr starting
• 2nd shift: Monday – Friday 2 PM – 10:30 PM, $17/hr starting
• 3rd shift: Sunday – Thursday 10 PM – 6:30 AM, $18/hr starting

Remanufacturing Technician II roles available as well for those with experience (re)building motors, engines or similar skills ( $1/hr)- rebuilding air compressors or air dyers form schematics

Essential Functions

• Basic disassembly, washing, and assembly of parts.
• Identify serviceable vs. non serviceable parts.
• Operation of semi-automatic equipment i.e. pedestal buffers, hand buffers, wash machines, ultra-sonic washers.
• Handle parts, tools in a safe manner.
• Proper use of power and manual tools. i.e. impact wrenches, drills, EZ Outs, hand tools.
• Understand and comply with all quality and safety rules, guidelines, policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
