EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years related experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and observational skills.

· Must be able to deal tactfully and relate well with supervisors, co-workers, staff

· Working knowledge of general building maintenance and repair

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist with performing all scheduled routine maintenance, as required, and keeping written logs.

· Assist with ensuring the building is in good repair and free from hazards.

· Assist with ensuring all building equipment is in safe operating condition.

· Assist with ensuring the exterior grounds are well-maintained, clean, and attractive.

· Assist with scheduling and performing non-routine services in a timely, safe, and orderly manner.

· Must be available on an emergency basis to keep the facility fully-operational at all times.

· Must be able to identify potential problems and alert the proper superiors of the condition.

· Assist with directing and/or assisting other personnel or contracted services used in maintaining the facility.

· Participate in in-service training, as well as continuing education programs, and educate staff as needed.

· Perform all other duties as assigned
