We are looking for a team-oriented individual who will help us continue to expand and grow at our Dodgeville, WI Research Center.

Duties and responsibilities: This person will have responsibility to assist with laboratory functions, field Research and product development. This individual will assist in sample preparation and the use of a variety of laboratory equipment. This individual will support our product managers as needed, assist plant managers and our sales team. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with the QA/QC functions and data entry.

Required: Ability to work in a fast-changing environment, work under deadlines and function well as part of a team. Working knowledge of a laboratory environment and a basic understanding of proximate analysis of feeds and instrumentation preferred. This individual will need a hands-on approach to solving problems, exceptional customer service skills, ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or concerns; and ability to resolve conflicts or issues. A strong understanding of cGMP procedures, especially record keeping of all activities, extensive working knowledge of computers and associated software to facilitate the gathering and summarization of collected data. This individual will need strong mathematical skills, including statistics; ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents; positive energy, excellent computer, oral and written communication skills. The ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. The ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables. A strong work ethic, reliable attention to detail and record keeping skills is required.

Education: Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Animal Science or Agronomy is preferred; and/or equivalent experience.
