Seasoned Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional for the position of Controller. As the Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing our organization's financial operations. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and timely financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to the finance team, ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of financial processes.
  • Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Manage the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors to ensure a smooth and timely completion.
  • Prepare and review tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to senior management.
  • Prepare financial and management reports for senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and best practices.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
Requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience, with 3 in a hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
