Pulse Clinical Alliance is hiring an Acute Adult Residential Counselor - Crisis Stabilization.

Job Details:

Temp to Perm: 13 weeks to full time
Pay Rate: $21/hr
Shift: Days - 40hrs/week - 5x8s
Experience: 1 year of social service field experience

Job Description:

$1,500 SIGN ON BONUS - Maintain a stable environment for adults with mental health and/or substance use challenges. This is a full-time position that works at Assist, a hospital diversion program that supports adults having a mental health crisis. This is a unique opportunity to gain a broad level of experience in the fields of substance use and mental health.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle
Experience with utilization review and discharge planning
Ability to work after hours, holidays, and overnight shifts, flexibility in willingness to cover urgent/emergency coverage shifts and callouts

Responsibilities:

Provide supportive counseling, medication management, and crisis intervention
Help residents strengthen coping and symptom management skills
Maintain the overall functioning and cleanliness of the programs
Plan and prepare nutritious meals
Provide short-term case management and referrals to appropriate levels of care
Facilitate groups
Administer medication
