Covenant Health is Hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician Near Lubbock, TX

DescriptionPerforms laboratory testing, cardiopulmonary procedures, and assists physicians with related procedures in the Operating Room and Intensive Care Units. Works under the direction and supervision of the Stat Lab Supervisor, Respiratory Director and/or the Medical Director over Blood Gas labs/OR STAT labs.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training Basic high school sciences.
  • Bachelor's Degree Technical Consultant: Chemical, physical, biological, clinical laboratory science or medical terminology from an accredited institution. BS in Respiratory Care also acceptable.
  • Coursework/Training Technical Consultant: 2 years of training in a non-waived/moderate complexity testing.
