Growing, private practice is looking for a motivated individual to become a part of our front office team as a Scheduling Coordinator.

We are looking for someone with either direct working experience or indirect knowledge of the day to day clinical operations of a dental practice to better allow them to coordinate an efficient, productive schedule.

The Scheduling Coordinator's main job responsibility is to assist in moving a potential patient from first encounter to scheduling an appointment.

An ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the types of treatment offered here and be able to answer basic questions regarding cost, timelines, and treatment alternatives, including the risks of delaying or avoiding treatment.

The Scheduling Coordinator will be familiar with Dentrix Practice Management software and be able to utilize it to create new patient files, add patients to existing family files, work within the ledger to explain costs and remaining balances to patients, and understand treatment plans.

The Scheduling Coordinator will understand dental insurance and assist in getting the details of a patient's plan and entering those into the proper location in the dental practice management software.

They will be able to take payment from the patient and post it to the the ledger.

Being bilingual and fluent in Spanish is a plus but not a requirement for employment.

As a team member, the Scheduling Coordinator will assist the Office Manager in whatever may be required to create and maintain a smooth flowing schedule and a productive work day.
