Job Description

ProMed Staffing Resources is seeking several Medical Receptionists for full-time contracts with the possibility to turn into direct hire at a reputable hospital in Shrewsbury, NJ. Ideal candidate must be willing to travel within 30 minutes of your home, and float to various locations. Apply today and unlock the possibilities!

Compensation: An attractive package of $22 - $24 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Executing all essential receptionist tasks, including proficiently handling, screening, and directing phone calls.
• Leveraging Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and/or other systems for seamless patient check-in/check-out procedures. This involves confirming patient demographics, insurance details, securing patient signatures on relevant forms, and guiding patients through any paperwork pertinent to their visit.
• Scheduling patient appointments with diligence and reminding patients of any necessary documentation required for their visit. Also responsible for scheduling any services or procedures as needed.

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Office Administration program or at least one year of prior experience working as a Medical Receptionist
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Must have knowledge of EMR systems
• Familiar with referrals/authorizations/eligibility verification
• Epic preferred
