PRDDC is seeking a Full-Time RN or LPN for Medication Dispensing and other duties from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Monday-Friday and some Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 5 pm to 8 pm. The applicant must be licensed by the District of Columbia Board of Nursing.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Prepares and administers medication to Program clients, maintaining essential medication inventory records and logs in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Observes and appropriately records/reports changes in a client's condition.
• Provides physical addictions-related consultations to clients on an as-needed basis, recording such consultations in the client's record.
• Initiates and maintains program arrangements consistent with the Program Policies pertaining to the continuity of client care and treatment.
• Coordinates medical treatment by providing medical information, on behalf of the clients, to other services; i.e., hospitals, inpatient facilities, etc.
• Participates in professional development activities to maintain state-of-the-art knowledge and skills relevant to nursing practice in a drug rehabilitation program.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor
