3PL Home Delivery Logistics Location Manager, Livonia, MI.

Professional Delivery Providers, a leader in 3rd party, white glove logistics specializing in home-delivery of appliances, furniture, and home goods for major retailers.
This facility/position is in Livonia Michigan.
· Ensure all policies, processes, and procedures are done to PDP and client guidelines & expectations.
· Managing the relationship with Client and addressing any concerns or opportunity in the Market.
· Manage assigned market area productivity. Including seasonal fluctuation planning on volume.
· Managing office of 5 employees.
· Manage daily route scheduling of 20 contract carriers.
· Source/recruit new contract carriers to provide delivery services.
· Managing all emails/calls
· Manage assigned market area QBR metrics with internal and external individuals, including daily, weekly and monthly reports.
· Weekly contract carrier settlement responsibilities.
· Managing market claims.
· Assure contract carriers compliance on uniforms and equipment.
· Managing and reporting all Client escalations and communicating them to the proper leadership
· Communicate Quality VOC results & communications to contractors regularly.
· Managing the development, implementation and administration of operational policies, programs, and systems.
· Establishes sound process improvements initiatives that drive year over year improvement.
· Assist the client with any questions/concerns. Help support management team with delivery process.
· Provide action plan for assigned market area regarding continuous improvement for KPI metrics, financial control, strong client relations, and great customer service.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
· Coordinating all personnel involved in the delivery process, including assigning tasks and evaluating performance.
· Managing budgets and schedules of the delivery, including defining project scope, milestones, and timelines.
· Monitoring all routes and logistics, including ensuring quality and compliance with customer requirements.
· Reviewing orders and addressing issues and concerns, including providing corrective measures quickly and effectively.
· Identifying and managing risks to the delivery, including developing contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and client liaison
· Able to identify opportunities and convey them to our contracted partners.
· Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint.)
