Description
Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Assembler position is part of the Manufacturing Team. This is a full-time, nonexempt position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):
  • Report to the Department Supervisor.
  • Review and build orders based on schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Operate electrical and mechanical hand tools including but not limited to cutters, strippers, screwdrivers, and crimpers.
  • Identify and communicate quality, drawing, or inventory discrepancies or issues to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Attend work regularly and promptly, participating in required training and meetings, as necessary.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Possess basic math, reading and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team member.
  • Ability to utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with team members.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • The ability to arrange items or actions in a certain order/pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules.
  • Detail-oriented, focused, and flexible.
  • Ability to use small hand tools including but not limited to cutters, strippers, crimpers, and screwdrivers.
  • Ability to work on your feet for an extended period.
Compensation
This position is full-time, hourly, nonexempt. Compensation typically follows industry median for Northwest Wisconsin region.
