ProActive Physical Therapy Centers is Hiring a Physical Therapy Technician Near Webster, TX

Do you already have or are in the process of working toward an applicable degree such as Kinesiology or Sports and Human Performance? We're adding additional staff to our existing team of amazing Rehabilitation Technicians to better serve our patient population.

Under supervision of a licensed therapist, you'll provide only those interventions directed by the supervising PT or PTA, which may include those listed below, but are ultimately determined by the supervising PT. Those duties include the following:

  • Assists in the provision of physical therapy services under the direction of the supervising PT and/or PTA
  • Set-up and/or applications of modalities
  • Supervision of therapeutic exercises
  • Consistent attention to and anticipation of the needs of our patients
  • Appropriate verbal feedback to our patients
  • You'll work as a team to maintain an arrival rate of 90% or greater, assist the front desk in answering incoming calls
  • You will also intermittently assist the front office coordinator with arriving/scheduling patients and taking co-pays
  • You will provide input to create a pleasant team atmosphere that will emphasize service, friendliness and customer satisfaction and the patients will rave about what "fun" they had while being treated at our facility
  • Dedicates 100% of his/her attention to the patients of ProActive Physical Therapy Centers.
  • Call patients to confirm upcoming appointments.
  • Help with clinic scanning and filing.
  • Maintain excellent internal and external communication.
  • Document exercise data accurately.
  • Promote the values of ProActive Physical Therapy Centers services.
  • Follow up with patients who do not arrive as scheduled.

Note - bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required. This position is primarily for shared time between our Pearland and Pasadena Clinics as needed.
