Position Overview : The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing preventive, corrective, and operational maintenance on a variety of equipment, including ion implanters, vacuum systems, and electronics.
This position requires a highly technical individual with a mechanical aptitude, experience with electrical troubleshooting, and a strong understanding of LabView.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including ion implanters, vacuum systems, and electronics.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on various equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Determine root cause of equipment failures, then implement corrective actions.
- Perform emergency repairs as needed to prevent equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records as required by the company.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications :
- Associates degree, or equivalent experience, in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
- 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance and technical troubleshooting.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
- Ion implanter or dry etch experience preferred
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
