Job Title: Structural Steel Detailing Manager

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Steel Detailing Manager to join our team. The Structural Steel Detailing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the detailing process for structural steel fabrication and miscellaneous metals. Responsibilities:

1. Detailing Oversight: Oversee the detailing process for structural steel fabrication and miscellaneous metals, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to project requirements and industry standards.

2. Drawing Review: Review and check drawings for structural steel fabrication and miscellaneous metals, identifying and resolving discrepancies, errors, and conflicts.

3. Coordination: Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and fabricators to clarify project requirements, address design issues, and ensure seamless project execution.

4. Team Management: Supervise and mentor detailing team members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their professional development and growth.

5. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance measures to ensure that detailing work meets or exceeds project specifications and industry standards.

6. Schedule Management: Manage detailing schedules and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and milestones.

7. Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• Thorough experience in checking drawings for structural steel fabrication and miscellaneous metals.

• Strong understanding of structural steel detailing standards, practices, and procedures.

• Proficiency in detailing software such as Tekla Structures, SDS/2, or similar.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
