The Environmental Technician performs technical tasks for waste management support to the Laboratory. The waste management areas will focus on hazardous, universal, medical, and low-level radioactive wastes, asbestos management, spill prevention, and cleanup programs following prescribed work methods and/or explicit instructions. Performs light and routine maintenance on assigned tools, equipment, and apparatus. The position is predominantly field activities based with limited office activities.
