Warehouse Lead:

Location: Aurora, CO 80011

Shift Schedule: M-F, 8 AM - 5 PM

Pay: $23-25/hr., Depending on Experience

Experience: Minimum 2 years of Warehouse and leadership experience.

We are seeking a capable Warehouse Lead to support our client of experts in all aspects of the packaging industry. You will assist the Warehouse Manager in planning and coordination of warehouse activities (shipping, receiving, storage, order processing, and delivery scheduling). If you’ve got leadership experience in a logistics/warehouse setting, you may be the right person to fill this critical role.

Warehouse Lead Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, organizing, and supervision of the operations in the warehouse.
• Supervise staff performing inventories, processing storage and delivery of products.
• Maintain awareness of stock levels and items approaching reorder point.
• Assist in the development and modification of warehouse policy and procedure.
• Assign work and ensure completion on schedule and to department standards.
• Make Warehouse Manager aware of any workload and scheduling problems.
• Provide shipping and receiving direction to vendors and trucking companies.
• Communicate with other departments and external stakeholders to exchange information, coordinate activities, and resolve issues and concerns.
• Direct warehouse operations in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
• Assist in the implementation of goals and objectives, establish schedules and methods for warehouse operations.
• Provides input to performance appraisals and personnel actions.
• Maintain records and reports related to warehouse activities, personnel and equipment.
• Make necessary adjustments for inventory control and coordinate with appropriate team members.
• Maintain and steward safety rules.
• Operate forklift.
• Other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Lead Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership/supervisory role.
• 2 plus years of warehouse/logistics experience.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Positive and professional attitude and effective communication (in English) skills, both verbal and written.
