General Labor Trainer

Department : CA Distribution

Location : Whittier, CA

This member of the Distribution Center team reports to the department Supervisor. This individual is responsible for training new employees and will ensure employees are performing their duties correctly in compliance with policies and procedures.

Ensuring they maintain quality and productivity expectations.

Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Train new employees in safety equipment operation, policies, and procedures.
• Responsible for the safety, quality, and productivity of all trainees.
• Clearing area of empty boxes and trash
• Palletizing of completed orders and pack-outs
• Placing completed orders onto the conveyer
• Filling active cases into locations
• Sweeping of beads and debris
• Preparing orders for shipment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

• Minimum of 1-year experience including warehouse / distribution and use of RF Scanner
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to all levels of Management
• Bilingual is preferred. The ability to communicate in English is required.
