D&D Venture Group is an established and rapidly growing California based company with Ace Hardware stores, Garden Centers, Plant Nurseries, and award-winning Gift/Home Dcor retail stores throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We have a passion for delivering friendly, convenient, and helpful service to every customer, every time. Our corporate headquarters, located in the Marina Bay Area of Richmond, CA, is looking for a well-rounded Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
•Work independently and with key team members to identify and accomplish goals
•Receiving, repositioning, stocking, picking, packing, delivering, and shipping of orders
•Loading and unloading to designated areas, such as rack, shelves and vehicles
•Ensuring inventory locations and count accuracy utilizing computer systems
•Regular cycle counts and inventory management best practices
•Make regular deliveries to our retail stores using F150 delivery van
•Communicate with key store personnel, ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries
•Operate pallet jacks, reach forklift, hand trucks and other warehouse equipment
•Maintain condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, clean/sweep the warehouse, maintain orderliness of pallets, etc.)
•Additional warehouse duties as required
Requirements:
•Outstanding attention to detail skills
•Prior warehouse, operations and forklift experience
•Demonstrate strong work ethic, communication, and customer service skills
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel) and Google Suite (docs, sheets)
•Able to effectively work with other team members to accomplish goals
•A valid driver's license and a safe driving record
•Follow all traffic laws, and be an alert, courteous, and defensive driver
•Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
•Stand, sit, walk, climb ladders/stairs and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
•Proven history of punctuality is essential
