Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting with vital signs, administering patients injections or medications as directed by physicians and as permitted by state law. Ensuring efficient and effective patient service, and providing administrative support to the medical staff. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office or similar environment and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Duties:

-Recording and updating patient medical histories.

-Measuring and recording patient vital signs.

-Preparing patients for examinations and procedures.

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns

- Maintain patient records and update information in the electronic medical records system

- Assist front office as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred

- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly desired

- Proficient in using phone systems, electronic medical records systems (e.g., eCW), and other office software applications

- Strong knowledge of medical administrative procedures and terminology

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external contacts

- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
