Job description

Well Groomed Pets is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Wellness Technician to join our Queen Creek team. As the face of our center, you will be the first point of contact for our furry clients and their parents, ensuring a seamless and caring experience from the moment they step paw into our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Efficiently answer phone calls, addressing inquiries, and providing information with a professional and positive demeanor.
• Schedule, book, and rebook grooming appointments, maximizing the center's efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Perform check-ins for grooming appointments, meticulously verifying services requested and updating client records.
• Conduct initial wellness checks on pets, noting any special requirements or concerns to be communicated to the grooming team.
• Liaise with veterinary offices to confirm or update vaccine records, ensuring compliance with center policies.
• Provide support to groomers and bathers, assisting with the handling and care of dogs to facilitate a smooth grooming process.
• Maintain a clean and orderly center environment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
• Present and explain salon packages and services to clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our offerings.
• Handle dogs with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort and safety while in our care.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in animal care or customer service is a plus.
• Proven experience in a customer service role; experience in a pet care environment is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with clients and their pets.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with scheduling software.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the center's success.
