Job Description: Perform various clerical and routine accounting tasks to include maintaining financial records, running reports and recording financial transactions.
Job Responsibilities

• Reconcile statements for select vendors for all hotels
• Monitor daily sales and occupancy tax audits
• Monitor and follow up on all chargebacks
• Post ACH's for advance purchases and corporate lodging
• Monitor and assist with Accounts Receivables
• Scan, upload, input and verify invoicing and statements
• Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing
• Perform clerical duties to include answering phones, bank deposits, checking and distributing daily mail
• Pull and send monthly reporting as instructed
• Administrative duties to include, DMV registrations, SAM account renewals, check runs, order office supplies, etc.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma/GED, plus 2 years of relative experience or college degree in business administration
• Hotel experience a must
• Knowledge of hotel Property Management Systems, such as Fosse, Opera, Lightspeed, Micros, ClearSky, etc.
• Be self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
• Proven experience working in an accounting role or similar position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Basic data entry and math skills
• Ability to perform simple accounting procedures
• Clean background check, and reliable transportation a must
