JOB DESCRIPTION

Premier Swim Academy is currently hiring a team member to fulfill the custodial and basic maintenance needs at our year-round locations in Rancho Cucamonga and Diamond Bar! As the Inland Empire’s top swim lesson program, we are dedicated to excellence in customer service, priding ourselves on well-maintained facilities and going above and beyond for our students and their families. The Facilities Custodian is a key component of Premier Swim Academy. Our Facilities team is entrusted with maintaining a clean, orderly and sanitary environment for customers and staff. Anyone who works in this role must be able to relate well to children and exercise good judgment at all times.

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES

Proven working experience in a janitorial or custodial role. There are high traffic spaces that can accumulate grime, wear and tear due to families and water damage. Attention to detail is needed and being capable of general repairs will be extremely beneficial. Time will be spent between our two facilities in Rancho Cucamonga and Diamond Bar, so reliable transportation is a must.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Previous custodial / cleaning experience
• Ability to frequently lift, push and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs., and may weigh up to 70 lbs
• Capability with tool sets and addressing minor issues preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Simple maintenance duties like touch up painting, basic mechanical/plumbing/electrical.
• Keeping our facility in a clean and orderly condition
• Cleaning windows and trim
• Cleaning doors and frames
• Wiping down tables/chairs in staff lounge
• Wiping down bathrooms(sinks, toilets, mirrors)
• Vacuuming floors
• Communicating with Facility Operations Manager and General Manager
• Other duties as assigned
