Job Description
Peerless-AV is currently looking for a Shipping Office Clerk from the hours of 8 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm. The Shipping Office Clerk will work to process and ship all orders accurately and on time.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS : Education :
Education :
High School Diploma or GED certification
Experience :
Two years of shipment processing experience in a manufacturing warehouse required.
Skills / Abilities :
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) Preferred
ESSENTIAL RESULTS :
- Promotes organization and good work ethic
- Maintains and improves standards for department.
- Can process UPS, FedEx packages.
- Knows how to process a truck order.
- Can operate IFS and knows how to do delivery notes and tracking numbers.
- Creates commercial invoices on UPS and Fed Ex
- Understands and be able to use RADLEY
- Maintains accurate UPS and FedEx shipping records.
- Handles all paper work for shipping area.
- Assist in documenting procedures for area
- Ensures that all customers requiring special labeling are shipped correctly.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance
- Cross training required for other warehouse positions
- Other duties as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS :
- Must be able to work overtime, including weekends (when applicable)
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk and work on a computer.
- Must be able to lift / carry up to 30lbs. without assistance. Anything above 30 lbs. requires a team lift.
- Must be able to work in non-climate / non-dust-controlled areas
- Must be able to wear required safety PPE.
