Preferred Primary Care Physicians(PPCP) is currently recruiting for a full-time Provider Enrollment Representative to work out of our Central Administrative office located in Canonsburg, PA. The ideal candidate will have prior credentialing and/or provider enrollment experience. Fantastic Monday-Friday day schedule! General Purpose of the Provider Enrollment Representative Position:
This position requires a very detailed oriented candidate to assist in processing applications and perform primary source verification for PPCP applicants. Processes applications and performs primary source verification for reappointment and re-credentialing for practitioners who are members of the facilities and organizations of area hospitals. Maintains a current and accurate database of credentialing information.
Provider Enrollment Representative Essential Functions:
- Completes files efficiently, according to policy, and within the established standards and guidelines.
- Performs data entry and scans accurately and efficiently according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Assists with database integrity and maintenance.
- Performs primary source verification, records information received, and provides follow-up as necessary according to established policies and procedures.
- Maintains excellent communication (verbal, written, and electronic) with all providers and practitioners.
- Processes applications expeditiously and efficiently according to the established priorities and timeframes.
Education/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent data entry and computer software application skills required and must have a desire to maximize the use of technology to automate processes.
- A detail-oriented person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Experience with NCQA standards preferred.
