POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The basic functions are to:

1. 1. Analyze and process accounts payable in a timely manner.
   2. Code invoices and other payable documents with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system.
   3. Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices.
   4. Prepares check requests, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
   5. Reconciles accounts monthly to vendor statements. Bring any discrepancies to the attention of the Controller.
   6. Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records, and reports.
   7. Company credit card reconciliation
   8. Reporting NC Use Tax monthly
   9. Assist with answering incoming calls and handle caller’s inquiries. Route calls to appropriate team member.
   10. Effectively communicate with associates, superiors, vendors, and customers.
   11. Perform other related duties as required.

   1. Education : A high school diploma is required; college is preferred.

   2. Experience : Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in Accounts Payable. Preferred AP experience in construction job costing.
