Windows Systems Administrator

What you will be doing:
The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting Windows Sever 2012 (some Linux/Unix desired), the ability to install, configure, perform systems administration/engineering task, and perform all maintenance tasks to keep the systems operational and running optimally in a virtualized enterprise level and distributed environment (hybrid on-premise and cloud).
What you need:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 5 years of Windows Systems Administration experience (system including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution)
• Additional years of SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • High School/GED 9 years' experience
  • Associates 7 years' experience
  • Masters 3 years' experience
• 2 years of end-user support - customer support experience to include phone, email and in person contact as well as experience assisting end users with new desktop capabilities and/or software
• Windows Server 2016 (or greater) experience
• Active Directory - day to day configuration and maintenance, backups, troubleshooting
• Group Policy - creation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of policies
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking including VLANs, creating and managing DHCP scopes, and managing DNS servers
• Ability to perform all routine maintenance, upgrades and security patching Microsoft Windows 2016 servers
• Ability to troubleshoot moderately complex issues
• Ability to work and communicate well in a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel
• Ability to lead and work as part of a team and the ability to work well both independently and in teams
• Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning and rapidly mastering new applications and technology
• Proven ability to multi-task and to prioritize rapidly-changing task assignments
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role

Desired Technical Experience:

• MS365 Exchange Online/Exchange on-premise (hybrid) Email Server administration experience preferred
• M365 Intune Management Experience
• VMware (virtualization) experience
• Experience creating and executing Powershell scripts to automate tasks related to managing Windows platforms
• Experience with performing managed deployments of Windows desktop operating systems
• Some Linux/Unix experience preferred
• Basic configuration of Cisco IOS devices (switch port configuration, VLAN creation, etc.)
