Planate Management Group is Hiring a Construction Project Manager with Secret Clearance Near Seattle, WA
Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other federal agencies, all over the world. Key responsibilities:
Oversee, manage and inspect the work of various construction contractors performing work for various on-site construction activities.
Manage and inspect projects for progress, workmanship and conformance with the contract documents and existing codes
Inform the client of any problems, issues or safety hazards observed
Draft all contract related correspondence
Arrange and conduct meetings at various locations and project sites
Complete and submit daily and weekly reports
Provide technical assistance and support during multiple construction projects
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
Must possess a Final Top Secret (TS) clearance
Engineering Degree and professional registration is required.
At least 5 years of engineering experience in construction projects
Knowledgeable on construction practices including applicable building codes, cost breakdown estimating and negotiating and technical writing
Must be able to understand and interpret drawings and understand the principals as connected with other disciplines
Knowledgeable in applicable safety regulations with OSHA 30 construction safety training
Able to provide Quality Assurance for ongoing construction projects
Computer literate including knowledge of Primavera P3 schedules and MS Office
Must lawfully reside in the United States and be eligible for employment (Planate does not sponsor visas or work permits)
