Provides patient care andtechnical skills in the operation of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner toproduce cross-sectional radiographs of patient’s body for diagnostic andevaluation purposes. 

Performs tasks like: Preparingpatient for MRI procedure by accurately assessing patient’s needs and providingpatient education; Operating magnetic resonance imaging scanner for dataacquisition, reconstruction of images, documentation of images, and performs qualitycontrol measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images;and Evaluating radiographs, video tape, and computer generated informationfor technical quality.
